The Poverty and Inequality Commission is committed to being open and transparent across all of our activities and will proactively share meeting minutes, research and other information on our website.

The Commission was established as a public body on 1 July 2019 and is now subject to requests made under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA) and the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (EIRs).

The Commission intends to adopt the Scottish Information Commissioner’s Model Publication Scheme and is preparing a Guide to Information. We will publish this on our website within three months of the establishment of the Commission.
