We are delighted to welcome the Poverty and Inequality Commission’s new members Doctor Peter Cawston, Kim Dams, Taliah Drayak, Louise Hunter, Doctor Ross McQueenie and Rami Okasha who took up their role on 1 July 2024. The Commissioners join Professor Stephen Sinclair (Chair) and Commissioners Professor Suzanne Fitzpatrick and Katie Schmuecker.
The Commission would like to thank Yvonne Blake and Alex Cobham, who are stepping down from the Commission after 5 years, and also Tressa Burke who is stepping down as her short-term appointment as a Commissioner from November 2023 until June 2024 concludes. Their knowledge and contributions to the Commission’s work has been invaluable and we wish them all the best for their future endeavours.
